About Dr. Nina

A Warm, Thoughtful Space to Be Fully Yourself

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be honest, understood enough to go deeper, and supported enough to try something different.

I bring warmth, curiosity, compassion, and a down-to-earth presence to our work. My goal is to create a space where you don't feel judged, rushed, or expected to have everything figured out—just a place where we can begin with who you are and what you need.

My Background

Getting to Know Dr. Nina

I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Alliant International University's California School of Professional Psychology and have worked in the mental health field since 2010. My clinical training and professional experience have included county outpatient services, nonprofit mental health settings, and private practice, where I have spent most of my career.

Throughout this work, I have supported individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges. These experiences have reinforced my belief that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Each person brings a unique history, set of strengths, and way of understanding the world, and I strive to create a therapeutic experience that honors the whole person.

Coast to Valley was inspired by my own journey from California's coast to the Central Valley. The name honors both places I have called home and the transitions that shape our lives. It also reflects what I hope therapy can provide—a space for connection, growth, and greater emotional clarity through every season of change.
